This innovative new standing wave ride has been developed to give a real surfing experience, it does this by using relatively slow moving water with a depth of around 250mm passing over an adjustable wave form. The water is pumped by submersible pumps into a tank where the water flow is “smoothed” before being discharged onto the ride surface to create the standing wave.

The wave is adjustable to give a range of wave heights, the smallest of these at around 500mm is suitable for all ages and experience levels, the intermediate settings allow both boogie boarding & surfing, while the largest “pro setting” at around 1000mm produces a serious wave aimed at accomplished surfers.

BoardRider enables complete novices to start surfing in a very short time, and for the more experienced to practice techniques that they can then use in the sea.

Point Break Surf is our surf pool primarily aimed at the overseas outdoor market, however this is available in the UK where conditions allow.
